Unique accommodation Dingle Peninsula

Review Very warm, comfortable and cosy accommodation very close to the beautiful Wine Strand and only a 10 minute drive from Dingle town where there is an amazing selection of traditional Irish pubs and great restaurants. Perfect spot for exploring the Dingle Peninsula. The Brewer’s Lodge is very well equipped with three good sized bedrooms, a nice bathroom, all very clean and well furnished. Nice big kitchen and living space downstairs with logs etc there for an open fire. All this attached to one of the best breweries in Ireland (West Kerry Brewery) so you can drop in for a pint or take away a couple of beers!

Great concept!

We had a lovely 2 night stay over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Our room was simple and stylish in a paired back way and very clean. We loved the common kitchen as we could make breakfast and meet t the other wonderful guests. One night when the pub adjacent was closed (it closes on Sunday nights) we made new friends and enjoyed sharing stories and wine with each other in the kitchen. The location is excellent, only a 10 mins drive from Dingle and a few mins stroll from the stunning Wine Strand (perfect swimming spot). A few finishing touches would have improved our stay such as shower gel in the ensuite and better towels (mine was ripped), wine glasses in the communal kitchen (we had to buy some in Supervalu as the bar next door was closed and there were none in the kitchen) and a welcome drink in the bar for guests would be a gorgeous touch to give a warm welcome. Overall, I would recommend Tig Bhric.

Hello Cathy, Many thanks for your detailed input and comments. Wine glasses will now be added to the kitchen! We make a conscious effort to spare our environment in any way we can even with small gestures such as no gels/shampoos to the bathroom. Most of us have ample products at home to dispense in small containers before travelling. We hope this though, this information is easily available on our site before arrival. Our apologies regarding the towel which should not have made it past our house keeping staff. A good towel is an important part of any holiday. Best Wishes and perhaps we will see you in the future. Fabulous Stay

We enjoyed a lovely stay ! Thank you ! Extremely clean warm and comfortable. Kitchen facilities were excellent and the provision of fire logs and kindling was very thoughtful thank you . We knew the area fairly well so it was no surprise that everything was on the doorstep . A major storm came through during our stay however you would not have noticed it at night as the room was so snug and cosy . The only suggestion to make would be to flag up the closure ( out of season) of the adjacent brew pub at the initial point of booking to avoid any possible disappointment however this was flagged up by Adrienne on our enquiries before staying and it will give us another reason to return in the future when it does open up !! Tolle Unterkunft, liebe Menschen und leckeres Bier

Wir haben in der Lodge gewohnt und uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Brewers Lodge wärmsten empfehlen. Schöne Aussicht und toller Strand in der Nähe. Auch die Brauereiführung war sehr interessant und lebendig von Adrienne erzählt und erklärt, als Abschluss gab es die Verkostungen der leckeren Biere und wieder mit tollen Gesprächen und Erklärung an der Bar in Pub. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall am Abend den Pub zu besuchen ( sehr gemütlich), Adrienne ist eine tolle Frau, mit der man interessante Gespräche führen kann, danke dafür. Sehr gern möchten wir wieder nach Dingle kommen und dann auf jeden Fall mit viel mehr Zeit! Tolle Menschen und wunderschöne Natur. Wenn man möchte bekommt man Informationen zur Umgebung. Die Führung in der Dingle Destillerie sollten Whiskey-Liebhaber auf jeden Fall machen - so authentisch haben wir es noch nie erlebt. Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen!!! H, J & F

Schöne Unterkunft und nette Menschen!

Wir können die Brewers Lodge weiterempfehlen! Geräumige gemütliche Wohnung mit super Blick auf die Umgebung. Adrienne ist sehr erfrischend und nett, wir hatten tolle Gespräche und das Bier aus eigener Herstellung ist wundervoll. Also unbedingt den Pub besuchen, Brauereiführung können wir auch empfehlen! Whiskey Tipps gab es auch. Dingle ist phantastisch wie wären gern viel länger geblieben... Wir kommen garantiert wieder und dann mit mehr Zeit! Wir wünschen Adrienne und ihrem Team alles Gute und immer nette Gäste!

Fantastic Week in the Brewer's Lodge

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked a self-catering in a very small village in the Gaeltacht, but what I got was an almost perfect vacation home! We had just the right amount of space for our family of 4. Having a full kitchen made our mornings so much easier (fresh baked sausage rolls, anyone?). The location was ideal - beautiful views, close to Dingle, Ventry Beach, "Hold a Baby Lamb," and the Blasket Island Ferry. I would absolutely recommend Tig Bhric to families or friend groups.

Lovely, relaxing stay

We stayed in the Blackcurrant room for three nights. The bedroom was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen area is well equipped, and it was great to have the option of eating there (as well as nice restaurants in Dingle and nearby). The house is a lovely, calm space. The local area was brilliant for walks, cycles and swims. And the beers were delicious. We even did the brewery tour, which was very interesting. We hope to return again.

Just great. Spent 2 nights but would have happily spent a week. Simple but clean practical room. Excellent shared facilities. Super helpful. Even has its own brewery and bar - not many b&b’s can offer that!t Walking distance to beautiful beach ideal for a dip.

Wonderful

We had a fantastic stay at Tig Bhric. The accommodation was spotless and roomy. The pub is in a fantastic position to explore the Dingle peninsula. We loved the laidback traditional pub atmosphere and the brewery beers are fantastic. Thank you Adrienne for being a wonderful host and giving us some exploration tips.

We will be back again

It's a fabulous spot - I highly recommend it. We enjoyed every bit of it - the accommodation, the location, the pub, the beers and it was a pleasure to meet Adrienne. We felt very welcome and we are looking forward to another visit!
